August 15, 2022 - Mayor O’Mary and Jasper City Clerk Kathy Chambless made a surprise visit to Jasper High School this morning to present a $2,500 check to Jasper High School Chef/Instructor Marulynn Lockett. Mayor made a donation from his discretionary funds for Chef Lockett’s use in her culinary arts classes. Thank you to Dr. Jackson and Jasper City Schools for letting us visit and to Principal Gayle Crump for escorting us to Chef Lockett’s class!
