Yorozu Heiche Automotive Vistech Manufacturing Mar-Jac Poultry The Yorozu project received special recognition and was the largest announced Japanese investment in Alabama for 2015 at $100 million. The project was also recognized as the largest job creation commitment in the state by a Japanese company for 2015 with 300 jobs announced. David Knight, executive director of the Walker County Development Authority, serves on the board of directors and the executive committee for the JASA. He said the recognition is a positive for the community. Heiche Surface Technologies has recently located in the 100,000+-square-foot speculative building in Jasper Industrial Park. The German-based company, specializing in the chemical surface treatment of metal parts serving the automotive, machinery, and electronics industries, becomes the fifth automotive supplier to operate a manufacturing facility in Jasper. Heiche will bring more than 70 new jobs to the area and is expected to start operations in late 2021 or early 2022.
