Conveniently located near the Walker College Campus of Bevill State Community College on Gamble Avenue, it consists of a walking track, beautiful birdhouses, a playground, and a creek, which runs down the middle of the park. Picnic benches and tables are scattered throughout the park. Perfect for anyone looking for a nice, quiet walk or picnic. The park was renovated to preserve wetland areas with funding from the State of Alabama. Thanks to the contribution of Dr. Jerald Sherer, a cardio trail was added as an optional branch of the walking trail. In 2022, the Jasper City Council approved nearly $1 million for area park improvements. With that funding, in early 2023, Gamble Park was one of the city parks that had playground equipment completely replaced with brand-new equipment.
