This Request for Proposal (RFP) is to determine the availability and capability of potential vendors to provide Animal Adoption and Pound Services for the City of Jasper.
Sealed proposals, one original and two (2) copies, and one (1) digital copy, in either MS Word or PDF format marked “Animal Adoption and Pound Services”, will be received by the Purchasing Agent at Jasper City Hall, 121 17th Street W, Jasper, Alabama 35501. Bids will be accepted until 11:00 a.m. Central Time (standard or daylight savings time, as applicable) on March 16th, 2026. Proposals submitted after this date and time may not be considered. Proposals will be publicly opened at 11:00 A.M. on March 16th, 2026.

EXCLUSIVE NON-ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE RIGHTS
The City of Jasper, Alabama is seeking to develop an exclusive partnership with a non-alcoholic beverage distributor to provide beverage services for all Jasper Park & Recreation System. The City is seeking a method of generating revenue for new capital and program improvements to Park facilities. The partnership agreement would include providing the official beverage distributor with territory exclusivity, category exclusivity and exclusive vending locations on the Park & Recreation System facilities. The proposal submitted and the contract, if awarded shall be in complete accordance with, without limitation, this request for proposal, the City of Jasper specifications, all applicable codes, and requirements.
Sealed proposals will be received at the office of the Purchasing Agent, 121 17th Street West, Jasper, Alabama 35501 no later than 11:00 AM local time on March 30, 2026.
The contract period shall be for a three (3) year period beginning March 30, 2026 through March 30, 2029.

GROUNDS MAINTENANCE NORTH JASPER PARK
The City of Jasper is seeking to establish a contract to provide quality grounds maintenance service such as but not limited to providing mowing, non-chemical weed removal, trim around obstacles, edging around concrete, removal of small twigs and limbs, and other services as designated at the Public Areas and Facilities of the City of Jasper located at North Jasper Park. The contract period shall be for a twelve-month period from the date of contract award with an option to issue a second and third contract with same pricing, terms and conditions and agreement by both parties for second and third twelve-month periods.

The contract period shall be for a twelve-month period from the date of contract award with an option to issue a second and third contract with same pricing, terms and conditions and agreement by both parties for second and third twelve-month periods.
