EVENTS ON SATURDAY (11/2)
VETERANS DAY PARADE: The Veterans Day parade, presented by local VFW Post 4850, will be on Saturday morning with an anticipated start time of approximately 10:00 am. At 9:30 am, there will be a brief ceremony with various speakers addressing the crowd on the courthouse square prior to the parade beginning at 10:00 am. The parade route will be the same as in past years with temporary road closures along the parade route.
JASPER MAIN STREET EVENT: Jasper Main Street will hold its 2nd annual Dia De Los Muertos celebration on Saturday from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm. Setup will begin at approximately 2:00 pm, which will require a portion of 19th Street, between 3rd and 4th Avenues, to be temporarily closed to accommodate this event.
