NOTICE – Tomorrow, Wednesday, June 18, the Jasper Street Department plan to close a portion of N. Airport Road, between Arkadelphia Rd. and the signal light at East/West Ridgewood Rd. from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM for road maintenance, weather permitting. During this time, patching, road shoulder work, bush hogging, boom mowing, weed eating, herbicide spraying and tree trimming will be done. This temporary closure will not interfere with garbage routes.
Northbound traffic on Airport Rd. will be directed to Arkadelphia Rd. and then onto East Ridgewood Rd. to get around the work area. Southbound traffic may continue on Curry Hwy (SR 257) to SR 195 and get to SR 69 (Hwy 78) and use 9th Ave to get downtown. West Ridgewood Rd. will be open to traffic. Citizens who live within the work area will be directed either north or south on Airport Rd. to avoid work crews.
