Jennifer Williams Smith currently serves as President of the Jasper City Council. She is the former Aquatics Director and Director of Leisure Activities for the City of Jasper. She is the owner and marketing consultant for Just Face It Alabama.
In addition to serving the community as a City Council member, Jennifer serves on numerous advisory boards of organizations throughout the community, and volunteers as a keynote speaker for numerous group events throughout the county. She is a member of the State Policy Committee focusing on Human Development representing Congressional District 4, and represents State Senatorial District 5 on the Legislative Committee on State and Federal Legislation.
Jennifer Williams Smith graduated from Walker High School and Auburn University, receiving her Bachelor's Degree in Communications. She and her late husband, Lee Smith, have two children, Sawyer and Brylee. Jennifer has received multiple awards, including the 2013 Business and Professional Woman of the Year Award. Jennifer is involved in a myriad of philanthropic and charitable causes such as DreamFit, C.A.S.T. for Kids, B.A.R.K. (Bry's Art Rewards Kids), fundraisers for Cure JM (Juvenile Myositis), and the Jasper Dream Team (an inclusive sports opportunity for individuals of all ages and abilities).
