"Jasper is a city on the move and poised for major growth and development. We are sitting comfortably alongside of the newly opened I-22, the Memphis to Atlanta Highway, and are poised to see development continue to come along this major thoroughfare. We have just completed construction of a State of the art World Class educational facility that houses Jasper High School, and are in the midst of revitalizing and redeveloping our downtown district with fine dining, entertainment district and shops for every taste." - Mayor David O'Mary
It is an honor to serve as Chairman of the JIDB. Jasper has been my home for my entire life, and we are entering an exciting time period of what promises to be significant growth. Our city, and its surrounding area, are well-located relative to all of the major cities in the South, as well as to several OEM facilities for automobile manufacturing, and in my opinion we've got one of the best work forces to be found anywhere. Anyone interested in developing an industrial facility or site should consider Jasper, Alabama, and I hope that you will contact us to let us know how we can assist in those efforts - Russell B. Robertson, Laird & Robertson
"Being a resident of Walker County my entire life, it gives me great pleasure to work with the Jasper Industrial Development Board as Vice Chairperson to help bring industry into our county. The citizens of Walker County played a very important role in my life, and I want to be able to contribute my time and any talents I might have back to MY community." - Carol Alexander, Broker/Partner, White Pepper Real Estate
